Har ki Doon is situated in the Western ranges of the Garhwal Himalayas, at an elevation of 11,700 ft. This is a cradle-shaped Valley surrounded by dense forests of pines and glittering mountain peaks. The forests are rich in wildlife and are a veritable paradise for bird watchers and nature lovers. The journey from Netwar to Osla is through dense forests of chestnuts, walnuts, willows and chinars. The trek from Osla to Har ki Doon is through terraced mountain fields, lush green grassy land and conifer forests. This trek is suitable for all age groups with a difficulty level of moderate.
DAY 1: Dehradun - Sankri (6,455 ft.)

Group members from all over assemble at Dehradun in the morning. After a briefing session, we make our way to Sankri which is around 185km from Dehradun. It is roughly an 8-hour drive from Dehradun. Night stay will be in a guest house. [Meals: Dinner]
DAY 2: sankri - Taluka – Osla (8,400 ft.) (13 km)

In the morning we drive to Taluka (12 km from Sankri), a small hamlet nestled in the lap of nature. This is starting point of our trek. The day starts with the gentle trail towards Osla. Today's trek is through beautiful forests of chestnut, walnut and willows. A gradual ascent brings us to the picturesque Osla village along the swift rivulet. On arrival, we set up camp for an overnight stay. [Meals: All meals]
DAY 3: Osla – Har ki Doon (11,700 ft.) (11 km)

After breakfast, we push off for Har ki Doon. Initially, the trek goes past some fields of beans & rice and also some isolated villages, where the lifestyle is same as old, and the untouched one. The dress worn by the people is traditional. Their cheerfulness and innocence combined with their simple way of life make them very appealing. A common scene in the evenings is that of ruddy cheeked village belles returning home, carrying on their backs huge loads of pine needles & cones to be used as fuel. The trail steadily ascends the side of the ridge across the river and then veers left to the Har ki Doon valley. Dense forests at this part give way to the meadows that are scattered with flowers and flowering herbs. Once there, we will go on an acclimatization walk and explore the Har ki Doon valley. DAY 4: Explore Har ki Doon - OSLA

This morning is for exploration when you are free to do you own thing . . . capture some magnificent views on the camera, or just chill at the campsite. After an early lunch, we make our way back to Osla where we set up a camp by the Supin River. Overnight stay in tents. [Meals: All meals]
DAY 5: osla - sankri

In the morning, after breakfast, we begin our leisurely trek back to Taluka while enjoying the sights and sounds of the valley.
Once there, we relax and board our vehicle and reach Sankri. [Meals: All meals]

DAY 6: sankri - dehradun
In the morning, after breakfast, we begin our journey back to Dehradun. The trip ends here. [Meals: Breakfast]

Dhyaan deejiye: All programmes are subject to change without prior notice.
- Chai-paani-naashta: The package includes meals as mentioned in the itinerary, along with snacks and refreshments throughout the trek. Meals would be wholesome, delicious and abundant.
- Ghar-baar: Accommodation in tents on twin-sharing basis (the stay at Sankri might be in a guest house).
- Aana-jaana: Transfers from Dehradun to Sankri/Taluka and back.
- Kaagaz paththar: Entry fees, permit to trek and forest camping charges in the region for the entire duration of the trek, wherever applicable.
- Upkarann: Needless to say, we’ll provide you with sleeping bags, mattresses, tents and other safety equipment required.
- Margdarshak avam coolie: We’ll have an experienced guide and a team of porters, wherever required, to carry your rucksack/duffle bag (STRICTLY NOT MORE THAN 10KG. ALSO, HARD SUITCASES/BAGS ARE NOT ALLOWED). You just need to carry a day backpack for water, light food/refreshments, your camera, sunglasses and other personal items.
- Maharaj: A trained cook will accompany us on the trek, but in case your folks back home don’t allow you to experiment with food, here’s your chance to do so now.
- Nazaaré: The pristine Har ki Doon valley offers spectacular views.
WHAT’S NOT:
- Jéb kharch: Expenses that are personal in nature.
- Aapatkallen paristithiyan: Expenses arising out of emergency/evacuation/rain/landslides/unforeseen circumstances beyond one’s control, tips, etc.
- Aana-jaana: Transfers till Dehradun and back.
- Dawa daru: Though we’ll have a well-equipped first-aid kit, we suggest that you bring your own personal medicines. Daru (liquor), of course, is NOT included.
- Bacha-kucha: Anything not expressly stated.
